Something is Growing at Doolittle
Residents at Doolittle Home are now growing their own vegetables and flowers in new raised container gardens on the sun deck. These gardens are wheel chair accessible and easy for residents to access.
After careful assembly and preparation by Philip Cobb, the beds were ready and so were the residents. The beds were filled with soil, the plants and seeds carefully planted and gently watered.
The residents are anxiously awaiting the opportunity to enjoy vegetables in the dining room that they grew themselves.
